On the quality of software... ATI initiatives PDF Print E-mail

ati

The SHARE Consortium is glad to announce that it's going to start new collaborations with the Working Group on Software Quality of ATI (www.ati.es), the main Spanish Computing Professionals Association.
The group is currently working on the quality evaluation of testing practices both in organizational level and in individual efficiency and effectiveness of software developers when designing test cases.
Previous studies revealed that current testing practices are neither effective nor efficient as they should be. Hence, in order to investigate the reasons for this,  a panel of 25 experts (from academia and industry) identified what they called "factors with negative influence" on testing.
If you are a  software passionate, click  here to express your own idea. This is helplful to understand whether the parameters identified are able to real and common situations in professional environments and also the possible real degree of negative influence on devoting effort to testing processes or implementing the best practices.
